have closed the company where I work. Can I apply for unemployment benefit?

In cases of closure of the company, and while Law 45/2002 of 12 December states that it is not necessary, you should claim against dismissal for this reason since to prove his legal unemployment would be necessary, if no dismissal letter, a report or record of the Inspectorate of Labor and Social Security where involuntary termination stating the services and their effective date, or where appropriate, through administrative conciliation report indicating that you have challenged the dismissal and the employer did not appear, provided that in any case, it finds its low in Social Security.

To apply for your benefit should go to the Employment Office as may be appropriate depending on where you live.

If unable to provide any documents necessary for the

recognition of the benefit shall notify the Public Employment Service, using the model "Declaration of lack of documentation in the claim for benefits", that will facilitate the Office Employment, and specify the reason for the lack of documentation.

If such a business case being the refusal to provide, the Public Employment Service will begin the process of formal documentation to the company.
